With the launch of the Oktoberfest 2008 last September 5, some of you have been requesting for a schedule of other events for the Oktoberfest festival. Here’s some of the scheduled events of the currently ongoing Oktoberfest 2008 Festival.
With the current trend of sub notebooks or netbooks, Acer has put out it’s own called the Acer Aspire One. This netbook is based on the Intel Atom CPU. Netbooks have started to be based on Linux and has been offered with Windows based models as well. The Acer Aspire One, not excluding, also offers both Windows and Linux based models.
The Aspire One is a netbook that offers you a wide choice of colors from Onyx Black, Golden Brown, Coral Pink, Seashell White and Sapphire Blue.
The Asus Eee PC 900 netbook, successor of the popular Eee PC 700, offers several enhancements which starts with a larger 8.9 inch display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. At less than 1 kilogram and a shock resistant solid state disk drive, the Asus Eee PC 900 truly offers ultra mobile computing.
The HP-2133 subnotebook is Helwett Package entry to the increasingly popular products of UMPC or NetBook. The HP-2133 with it’s small footprint doesn’t compromise on computing with its specs like a 1.2 Ghz process and a 1280×768 screen resolution on a 8.9-inch display. The keyboard is 92% of the normal keyboard which is not normal for computers in this class of subnotebooks.
Creative, best know for it’s sound cards, also manufactures music players. The Creative Muvo T200 is from it’s line of compact, carry all around music players. Available in black, pink and white, the Muvo T200 has a 2GB storage for playing up to 500 MP3 songs.
The music player also supports the WMA format allowing for up to 1000 songs in a single Muvo T200. The Creative Muvo’s form factor is small enough to carry in your pocket like your ordinary usb flash disks.
Globe has recently introduced it’s Unlichat service. Unlichat allows you to use your mobile phone to chat with your Yahoo Messenger buddies. Unlichat is an application that you can download from Globe that enables you as a Globe subscriber to use Yahoo’s instant messaging service.
Until October 4, the Unlichat service of Globe Telecoms will be free of charge. If you are a Globe mobile service user, just download the Unlichat software and you can start chatting with your friends.
