General Information
SM Megamall is one of more than 25 chain of supermalls owned by SM Prime holdings. It provides a single place for shopping, eating, watching movies and other leisure/recreational activities. SM Megamall is one of the largest shopping centers in the Philippines. Opened in 1991 with 6 levels of entertainment, shopping and dining choices.
The two main buildings, Mega A and Mega B, equally house major SM retail affiliates such as Our Home and Toy Kingdom in the former, and the SM Supermarket and the SM Department Store at the latter. SM Megamall has an Art Center, an exhibit space dedicated for the Sy family’s love of art and the fourth level at Mega A, named the Art Walk where galleries showcase Filipino masters and contemporary artists such as Sanso, Orlina and Cacnio among others.
With the addition of the Mega Atrium in 2008, SM Megamall has grown larger and is reaching newer heights.
