  • Advertising Copywriters

    Requirements:

    • Must be a marketing/advertising/journalism graduate or any related fields
    • 2-5 years work experience (non-managerial)

    Job description:

    • The advertising copywriter will work in a creative partnership with the marketing and web development teams to conceive, develop and produce effective advertisements.
    • The advertising copywriter will be in charge of the verbal and or written aspect of any marketing materials. This involves writing 'copy', ie coming up with original catchphrases, slogans, messages and straplines. It also includes writing all the wording in any type of advertising, such as:
      • advertorials
      • posters
      • banner ads
      • leaflets
      • brochures
      • promotions
      • taglines
      • tri-media
    • The advertising copywriter will also be involved in drafting correspondence, business proposals, business plans, concept papers and business processes together with the Marketing Director. They also work with web designers/developers and printers.

    Typical work activities:

    • Conceptualization and development of promos, product bundling and presentation
    • Conceptualization and development of marketing programs to help the sales campaign increase their sales
    • Meeting the campaign heads and managers to discuss requirements and product background;
    • Brainstorming ideas and concepts;
    • Working in a close-knit creative partnership with the marketing director and web development team to generate workable concepts and ideas;
