Shoemart (SM) is a large mall chain and a household byword in the Philippines. Its mother company is SM Holdings, owns Banco de Oro Universal Bank, has interests in China Bank Corporation, San Miguel Corporation.

The SM Group has decided to invest into the Call Center / Contact Center business by starting SM eVentures Incorporated thru its investment arm SM Investments Corporation.

SM eVentures Incorporated will be offering contact center services such as inbound and outbound customer care and telemarketing. They will rely heavily on current telecommunications technology such as email, internet chat, voice calls, fax and internet telephony / VoIP.
