IKEBANA SHOW STARTS FEB. 25. The Ikebana International, Manila Chapter 108, will present its 38th annual show from February 25 to 27 at the 2nd Floor Level, Grand Atrium, Shangri-La Plaza Mall, corner EDSA and Shaw Blvd., Mandaluyong City. This was announced by over-all show chairperson Nonette Hubilla and club president Celia Guevarra Lazaro.
"Celebrating Friendship Thru Flowers" is the theme of the show and diplomatic corps from the different foreign embassies have been invited to grace the occasion. Open free to the public from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Filipinos of all walks of life as well as foreigners, both young and old, are welcome to view the floral art exhibits by members of the Ikenobo, Sogetsu, Ohara, Ryusei-Ha and Chiko Schools. Also invited to put up token exhibits are the provincial Ikebana chapters of Cebu, Cagayan de Oro and Davao.
