JAGUAR distributor Wellington Soong is quite excited these days.
No less than the Duke of York, Prince Andrew, is going to grace the formal opening of the Jaguar-Land Rover showroom in Ortigas on Dec. 3.
In addition, His Royal Highness will launch the new Discovery 3, the SUV that has generated much buzz from the British and European automotive press.
During his three-day visit here, Prince Andrew will also inspect the Shell refinery in Batangas, part of his new mission as the United Kingdom's special representative for international trade and investment.
The royal visitor is only expected to be at the showroom for less than half an hour, but the visit, though short, is expected to further boost the already considerable marketing mystique of the British motoring brand.
