Free Unlimited Yahoo Instant Messaging
Globe has recently introduced it’s Unlichat service. Unlichat allows you to use your mobile phone to chat with your Yahoo Messenger buddies. Unlichat is an application that you can download from Globe that enables you as a Globe subscriber to use Yahoo’s instant messaging service.
Until October 4, the Unlichat service of Globe Telecoms will be free of charge. If you are a Globe mobile service user, just download the Unlichat software and you can start chatting with your friends.
The following handsets are currently supported:
- Nokia: 3230, 6120c, 6630, 6680, N70, N73, N76, N80, N95, E65
- Sony Ericsson: K610i, K800i, K810i, W810i, W910i, W880i, W660i
Looks like Motorola and Samsung mobile phone users will have to wait a little longer but the list of supported mobile phones is being continuously updated by Globe.
The service will be free of charge during the trial period from September 5 – October 4. After October 4, subscribers will be prompted to purchase credits to use the service:
- P25 for 1 day unlimited access
- P100 for 5 days unlimited access
- P200 for 15 days unlimited access
To avail of the currently free service, you can text CHAT to 2979.
You will get an SMS with the link www.unlichat.com. Click on the link or open it from your mobile internet browser. Click the BUY link to download the UNLICHAT application through your phone’s internet browser. (Note that Price is P0.00 and that downloading of application is free of charge.)

How to download the unlichat program in my mobile. I’ve been trying it for almost a week from now But I failed. Each time na mag open link ako sa http://www.uinlichat.com eto yung comment “Network Error” A temporary network error occured while trying to retrieve the requested URL. Please try the following. *Please click the refresh button or try again later. Paano at saan ko ikiclick yung refresh button?

Pano ma install yung application? Sonyericson K800i mobile ko every time na e do2wn load ko yung application Redirecting lang naka lagay. Ano magandang gawin para ma download ko unlichat?

Hi Ize… here’s the Procedure… Download first the settings txt GO K800i to 2951, then save all the settings, second, open the settings to connectivity and opeN the Data comm., and data accnt.. afterthen, click My Globe connect and set it As yoUr apN… moreover… go online thru pc.. and type http://www.unlichat.com then, tYpe your no. and clIck send AND You wiLL receive UnlichaT on YM to Your Phone.. afterwards, scroll Down then, Click The highlighted http://www.unlichat.com. and there you go… you Will now Download the YM…

I don’t think that Globe’s unlichat support your phone model right now. There are other instant messaging software that you can install on your mobile phone that is available on the Internet. Read this list of instant messaging software for mobile phones.
